
A quick read between the lines would show that I live in NYC and as a bonafide Brooklynite I can attest to the fact that it's fast here. But before NYC, I got started with some startups in the suburbs, kicked it at 3 agencies in Philly (Advertising, Digital Product, Ecommerce), then transitioned to even busier agencies in NYC – I eat fast for breakfast

...and going at a pace that works within the environment its affecting.
I'll try to explain this concept via this photo. What I see is a story captured in an instant. For one, it wasn't staged or planned; it just happened. But as the observer operating a camera, it's a matter of being present in your environment, readiness-to-go with your tools (camera in this case), and having the intuition to capture an entire story with a single click.
The grass creates a base ... a home base, of sorts. The flowers leaning into the light allude to our inherent interest in the ever-oscillating circle of life. The juxtaposition of both young and old with their respective wheeled accoutrements provides cosmic irony while juggling action and introspection. The soft bokeh of a concrete mass showing the reaches of this microcosm. The absolute luck of the perfect lighting.
